MarsCon depends on you, the attendees, for much of our programming. This is the place to suggest possible program items for 2009. If you are willing to do the leg work behind your suggestion, wonderful! If you just want to add an idea, that’s great too.

A panel of experienced masquerade directors, participants and volunteers discuss what it takes to put on a masquerade contest * what makes a good Master of Ceremonies * how to maintain order and quiet in the green room * in pursuit of the perfect costume contest registration form * what you need for stage crew, 'den mommies' and other volunteers

What it means to be a cult figure in this day and age
Self-explanatory, a discussion of what it means to be a cult figure in this day and age, I guess we could talk about how the internet has affected the traditional cult following/cult figure relationship and the dementia scene probably serves as a good example of a cult fandom... I can't think of anything else, so TTFN
