Thanks again for making our first ever MarsCon so much fun!

We hope you enjoyed our convention, and we want to let you know that MarsCon plans to return to the Radisson South Hotel the weekend of May 12th, 13th & 14th, 2000, for another fan-run multimedia extravaganza. Our theme for MarsCon 2000 is "Don't Panic! M2K is Coming!" [The subversive theme is simply "MM'00!"]

If you have any programming ideas for next year or any suggestions on how we could make MarsCon 2000 a better convention, please contact us. We appreciate any and all suggestions for improvement and enhancement of MarsCon. Also, let us know if you require information on DEALERS ROOM, ART SHOW, GAMING, or MASQUERADE. Much of this will be discussed at ConCom (Convention Committee) Meetings which you are also welcome to attend.

Upcoming ConCom Meetings are scheduled for the following Sundays at 1:00 pm:
**April 18th (location to be determined--will send notice prior to meeting)
**May 16th at Woodland North Apartments Party Room in Coon Rapids
**June 20th (A potluck picnic, possibly at Minnehaha Park--will send notice prior to picnic)
**July 18th at Woodland North Apartments Party Room, Coon Rapids **August 15th at Woodland North Apartments Party Room, Coon Rapids

These meetings are open to the public, so feel free to bring friends & folks who you think would be interested in volunteering.

Speaking of volunteering... A few ConCom positions are still open, and we especially need volunteers in the areas of CHILDCARE, CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING, FAN FAIRE, GUEST OF HONOR LIAISONS, MEDIA PROGRAMMING, and PROGRAM BOOK. If you would like to volunteer for any of these areas or any other area which holds your interest, your efforts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for volunteering! We love you, we need you & we will reward you!

MarsCon is hosting a party at Minicon which is being held in the Minneapolis Hilton Towers this Easter weekend. If you happen to be there: Stop by. Say, "Hi." And, in honor of our "Don't Panic" theme, don't forget to bring your towel. Have a lovely spring! Until next time....
