At MarsCon 2017 we’ll be celebrating with a mash-up of science fiction, fantasy and hard science for good measure. The theme will be...
Dragons are the stuff of myths, legends, and the greatest stories ever told. They are fierce and fascinating. Wondrous, destructive, beautiful creatures. From J.R.R. Tolkien's fearsome fictional dragon Smaug, to the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon, to real life Komodo dragons, to modern day Dragon spacecraft missions to the International Space Station... dragons are epic, and YOU are invited to join them at MarsCon for an epic adventure in space, where else?
Guests of Honor for 2017 include Jeffrey Combs, Ralph Ryan, Sharon Lee, Steve Miller, Judy Tenuta, Benjamin Higginbotham, and Cariann Higginbotham. Visit our Guests of Honor page for more about these people and our many other guests of distinction.
MarsCon is a fan-run science fiction convention for all ages held every March in the Twin Cities area. At MarsCon you’ll find panel discussions, parties, guest of honor presentations, music of many kinds, our art show, film/anime room, science room, dealers room, charity auction, and masquerade. The Dementia track is virtually a con in itself. Mix and mingle with eight or nine hundred of your favorite fanish friends at MarsCon!

We recommend carpooling or mass transit to reach MarsCon. But if you do drive and find the Hilton parking lot is full, there is overflow parking in the open air lot past the Crowne Plaza ramp (on your right as you approach the Airport Hilton). There is a sidewalk from this lot to the Hilton. See the overhead view below (thanks, Google!)
