MarsCon 2021 wasn’t at all what we expected when we started planning. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone in person at MarsCon 2022!

MarsCon 2021 - good ... or bad? In what ways?
Was this your first time “attending” MarsCon? If so, how did you find out about us? Is Minnesota beyond your normal geographic range? Will you be back next year?
Have you been to MarsCon 2021 online and previous MarsCon(s) in person? If so, what was better? What was worse? Was anything unchanged?
Did you decide to skip this virtual MarsCon? Your reasons were...?
Health and safety: many fans have health issues - what can / should MarsCon do to promote attendee health (or, as in the case of 2021, survival)?
Health and safety: what can Cons do to make attending an in-person convention feel (and be!) safe / safer / safe enough?
What do you miss about live conventions? What don’t you miss at all?
Live vs Hybrid - is a large online component now the normal for conventions? Would a hybrid convention make you more - or less - likely to attend? - to pay? What is a reasonable business model for the online parts of an in-person convention? (Keep in mind that as geeks many of us have more bandwidth in our homes than is affordable in a hotel.)
Accessibility - we used many platforms to get programming out to people. Which worked, which didn’t, which had fatal flaws? Should there be more or fewer online options? How do we accomodate people who are fans but not computer geeks - or just don’t have access to bandwidth?
Technology - some (many?) fans boycott various bits of the tech we were using in 2021 based on the company providing the tech being incompetetent - exposing users to security bugs ... or evil - trying to exploit users at unreasonable levels. Your experience?
Privacy - many want to / need to keep a firewall between what goes on at a con and their snoopy family / neighbors / employers. Would a hybrid Con be a problem to you?
Post-Con-Crud - can you get jet lag even if you never stepped outside your front door?
What did we forget to ask?
