Volunteering: MarsCon is run completely by volunteers, and we couldn’t put on the convention without the help of fans like you! If you’re going to be at the con anyway, why not lend a hand? It’s a great way to meet people and contribute to your favorite con!

We are always looking for folks who are interested in assisting our department chairs as assistants and subs, throughout the planning stages of MarsCon and at the con itself. Maybe you have an interest in accounting/finance, the art show, costuming & cosplay, crafting, gaming, film, anime, marketing & social media, just to name a few? For more info on volunteering with any part of MarsCon, jump to our Volunteer Page

FenSF: Did you know that MarsCon is put on by the Fans Educational Network for Science Fiction? “FenSF” is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to teaching individuals how to promote and run amateur science fiction and gaming conventions. Putting on a great convention like MarsCon takes a lot of resources. We hope you will consider making a donation to FenSF, to help us continue bringing MarsCon to you. Many employers will actually match charitable donations, so if you’d like to help support us, be sure to check with your employer for matching charitable contributions! Please go to our fundraising site to donate: givemn.org/organization/Fans-Educational-Network-For-Science-Fiction
