Broken Allegiance is a short film set in the Star Wars universe. It takes place after A New Hope but before The Empire Strikes Back. It centers around two Sith apprentices who have escaped from the Empire, but are being pursued by a bounty hunter, and their search for freedom. The film started pre-production back in January 2001. The script went through 11 drafts before shooting began. Auditions were held in March to an overwhelming response. Rehearsals took place from April through to June. The film went into production in June and wrapped shooting in late July. The film was shot both in studio and on location around Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.
You've read about it in the StarTribune -- now here's a chance to see the film everyone's talking about! Starship Exeter: The Savage Empire is a fan-created movie by Jimm & Josh Johnson. Johnson, who plays Communications Officer Lieutenant B'fuselek, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss his experience in creating the film that has gotten more positive fan reaction than Paramount's latest Star Trek effort, Nemesis. On January 21, 2003 the Sci Fi Channel Website named Starship Exeter the Site of the Week, referring to the Starship Exeter movie as "an episode that's actually better than some of the 'official' Trek that's been produced." This is just the latest distinction among a number of internet and print news sources which have run extensive, positive reviews of the Starship Exeter online movie. Other recent articles have been published by the Minneapolis Star Tribune Newspaper, the Cinescape Website, Pulse 24 Online News Source, and the Sci Fi Channel's News Sevice: SciFiWire.
"The Xenaversity has put together what we hope the fans see as a new artistic perspective on our favorite warrior princess and battling bard!!" Silent Movie screened for the first time earlier this month at the Pasadena Creation Con -- this is your chance to see the midwest primiere.
Arrive early for this showing, kids. We're expecting a sellout.

- Brazil
- - Friday/Saturday, Midnight

(If you've only seen this on TV, you missed out on a lot.) We can chat after the film about the fight that Gilliam had to release his vision as he intended it. Not recommended for younger viewers due to disturbing imagery. R, 142 minutes

- Neon Genesis Evangelion: End of Evangelion

- The apocalypse arrives in this stunning end to the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. This film served as Hideaki Anno's brutal response to critics who had complained of a lack of closure in the saga.
