Their earlier works include AGENT OF CHANGE, CONFLICT OF HONORS, CARPE DIEM, and PLAN B. Most recently, Steve & Sharon's novel SCOUT'S PROGRESS was named winner of the 2002 PRISM Award for "Best Futuristic" at the Romance Writers of America national convention. Another of their novels LOCAL CUSTOM came in second in the same category. See http://www.romance-ffp.com. - Actor Guest Of Honor - Julie Caitlin Brown

She has numerous other TV, film and stage acting credits as well as a continuing musical career. Fans of the legendary SF Series Babylon 5 know and love Julie best for her intense portrayal of Na'Toth, attache to the Narn Ambassador G'Kar. Julie is also gifted with an incredible singing voice. Visit Julie's web site at: http://www.juliecaitlinbrown.com/.
- Actor Guest of Honor - Lev Mailer
- Lev Mailer's career as actor, director, acting coach and teacher spans over 30 years, from his first days working on the original Star Trek series and his experiences in the Star Wars Holiday Special, Firefox, and shows such as The Greatest American Hero, to his roles as National Chair of the Screen Actors' Guild Conservatory and faculty member of the American Film Institute.
- Artist Guest of Honor - John Garner
- John has been
drawing and painting all his life. He has won numerous awards and has been
published in TSR's Dungeon Adventures magazine, Starslayer gaming module,
and most recently the cover to Cloud Kingdom Games' "Fall of Castle
Bondi." John and Denise Garner were married at a previous MarsCon when
Denise was the Artist guest of honor. A science and astronomy buff, John
enjoys a good conversation on quantum mechanics or relativity as much as
one on Star Trek or art. He also enjoys lavish and abundant chocolate and
continues to seek the holy grail of the most decadent desert in the
universe. Please join us in welcoming him as our guest at MarsCon 2003!
- Fan/Makeup Artist Guest of Honor - David Mendez
- Dave is a local make up effects artist and long-time fan. Listing Tom Savini, Dick Smith and KISS among his inspirations, Dave has been working with Costumes For Your Eyes applying make up to their models and for their local Fright House. Dave has the dual role of The Gatekeeper of the Fright House. He is currently working on a local independent horror movie in pre-production. A former member of Vessel Celtic Rock, Dave can also be found working at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. He enjoys collecting swords, toys and any make up tips he can get.
- Featured Guest - Harvey
- Despite his hectic schedule, Harvey managed to make it to MarsCon 2002 just in time for closing ceremonies. Unfortunately, not many people managed to see him, due to his invisibility. Harvey hasn't been content to rest in retirement at the conclusion of his successful movie career. Recently he has been travelling the globe enrolling important computer files in the ranks of the invisible. Perhaps you've seen his work at a computer near you! We're excited to welcome Harvey back as he makes another appearance (?) at MarsCon 2003. Read more about Harvey at http://www.geocities.com/harveytpooka/harvey.htm
- Musical Guest - The Nick Atoms
- They are a music force beyond all comprehension! Together, they will be lost in space, ending up in the 25th century, hoping that Doctor Who can send them a six million dollar man to defeat Bigfoot and Wildboy to escape from New York and leave the land of the lost behind. This is no ordinary band. This is no ordinary show. Don't miss your chance to be atomized! Check out their site at http://www.thenickatoms.com/ for more.
- Musical Guest - Tri Destiny
- Travel through time - from medieval knights in "A Rover" to the bittersweet "Love Lies" of the '90s and beyond - in their concerts of all-original, soft rock, romance music. Their web site has more information and samples of their music. Welcome back, Tri-Destiny.
- Musical Guest - The Great Luke Ski!
- Please welcome Luke Collis Sienkowski, a.k.a. "the great Luke Ski" to MarsCon 2003. Luke's music ranges from rap to -- well -- seriously demented. And speaking of demented, his "Peter Parker" got the #1 spot in the 2002 Funny 25 list on the Dr. Demento radio show. Read all about it at the Luke Ski website.
