Happy holidays, all!

Thank you to all who recently joined us for parties at TardisCon, FilmCon and other events, as well as to all who have registered for MarsCon or who plan to register soon! Without further adieu, here's the latest:

MOVIE NIGHT - We're showing a movie, so bring your friends and let's all party together before the convention! MarsCon will be sponsoring movie nights at the Plaza Maplewood Theater on Friday and Saturday, January 25th and 26th, at 11:30 p.m. The setting is Mars...the star is Arnold Schwarzenegger...and the movie is...drum roll...TOTAL RECALL. Hope you can be there too! Here are the specifics:

MOVIE: Total Recall (1990), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger
PLACE: Plaza Maplewood Theatre
PRICE: All seats are $4
TIMES: Fri., January 25th, 11:30 p.m. & Sat., January 26, 11:30 p.m.

IMAGINARY GUEST OF HONOR VOTING UPDATE - On the lighter side... the main candidates for 2002 Imaginary Guest of Honor are Harvey and Roger Rabbit. Since the polls opened, we have received write-in nominations for Bugs Bunny, Jessica Rabbit, and now Marvin the Martian. Survey says..."Bunnies, bunnies...it must be bunnies!" But the votes are too close to call at this point, although Harvey has definitely taken the lead. To find out more about the candidates or to cast your vote, please visit the iGoH page. The winner will be announced at Opening Ceremonies, March 1st, at 7:00 p.m. CST.
