This is where you can enjoy costuming-related programming, then sit and chat, speaking the language of costume lovers everywhere (watered satins, ruching, bum rolls, doublets, vambraces -- that sort of thing). Share your costuming hints and tips, discuss your most recent designs and constructions with those who want to know, "How DID you DO that?" Bring your most precious photos and/or portfolios to share. Once again we will have a contest beginning at 11:00pm Saturday night. The first 15 applicants will be accepted. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Not planning to enter Saturday Night's contest? We're looking for 3 individuals who would like to serve as judges for the contest. Krushenko's, named after a Manhattan bistro in Larry Niven's novel Ringworld, started at the 1983 Minicon, and now also travels to CONvergence, Diversicon, and Arcana in the Twin Cities as well as OddysseyCon and WisCon in Madison, A regular feature of MarsCon since 1999, Krushenko's (with help from the Annex) this year serves up panels and discussions about SF in literature and other media in the daytimes, and conversational SF-related parties in the evenings. "Krushenko's is accustomed to serving alien guests!"
