The folks at the Twin Cities Anime and Manga Society (TCAAMS) will be hosting the Anime Room (Atrium 8) at MarsCon 2001. They promise a mix of material: some old, some new, some SF / Fantasy based, and some just plain fun. This page has their preliminary schedule. (As always, check at the Con for last-minute changes.)
"Warning: Anime (Japanese Animation) may be offensive to some people due to cultural differences. Parents of children under the age of 13 should be aware that violence and brief partial nudity might be contained in some of these titles. We have tried to set the schedule to show these titles between 8:00pm 1:00am. The Sunday schedule is appropriate for all ages. Midnight Madness means that we will be showing parodies of anime series, these may contain adult language that may be unsuitable for children under the age of 16."
