MarsCon 2001 Parties

Well... it wouldn't be a con without room parties, would it? The MarsCon 2001 parties promise to be a blast, but there's still room for a few more, so contact Malasondra via one of the methods listed below before April 23rd if you would like to reserve a party cabana. Parties will be centered around the pool area, along with the Con Suite (Cabana 218), Blue Mars Film / Video Room (Cabana 215), Krushenko's (Cabana 118) and the Martian Music Room (Cabana 115).

A person responsible for each party will sign and post the following rules:

1. You are responsible to keep your room staffed during your parties.
   
   
2. If you are serving alcohol at your party you must:
   1. Be 21 or older to serve the alcohol.
   2. ID the person you are serving. We prefer you use driver's license or something that validates the age of the person, not the MarsCon badge.
      
      
3. If you are found not carding or if you have served a person who is underage you will be shut down and the hotel will be notified. It is their policy to call the police and have anyone involved arrested. You will also be required to pay the regular hotel prices for your room / rooms for the rest of the weekend.
   
   
4. If it's illegal at the Con, it's illegal in your room; i.e., if it's illegal on the streets, it's illegal here.
   
   
5. Until 10 pm we are a family oriented convention, so please keep in mind that there may be minors in your room and keep it appropriate for them.
   
   
6. Please don't post anything that can damage the walls or the room in any way. You are responsible for the condition of your room.
   
   
7. If you need any assistance in your room, please don't hesitate to call Ops; we will do what we can.
   
   

POST these rules in your room, so that anyone coming into your room will see them!!
