Did you make an Independent film? and would like to screen it at MarsCon 2014?
Here is how to do it.
Rules:
- Submissions are now open ‘till Dec 31 2013. So get your entries in now!
- There is no entry fee for any submission.
- All entries must be original works created by the filmmaker.
- Film must be live action or animated.
- Entries submitted must be in one or more of the following genres: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Action/Adventure or Supernatural. Comedies set within any of these genres will also be accepted.
- Submit a copy of film on disc, playable DVD (NTSC, Standard Definition, Region 0 or 1). No other formats.
- All Entries must come with a plot synopsis of the film, rating and running time.
- The Filmmaker grants the following:
- non-exclusive, irrevocable licenses to show there film if picked during MarsCon.
- limited publishing rights for promotional purposes of the name of the film, name of the filmmaker, and plot synopsis.
- Entries submitted are NOT guaranteed to be screened. Screened entries will be chosen at the discretion of the A/V head and co-heads.
- All DVDs submitted will become the property of the A/V room at MarsCon and will not be returned.
- Filmmaker will hold harmless that MarsCon A/V room, its assigns, partners, subsidiaries and its sponsors and MarsCon its assigns, partners, subsidiaries and its sponsors from any liability resulting from any screening of the Entry.
