Once again, parties go to 11!
Excellent! Hosting a room party is a great way to meet new people and to have fun.
Party hosts may wish to use this typical room layout drawing to plan their party layouts. (This is the same layout map we have been sending people to for the past several years.) Remember: your actual room may be a mirror image of this drawing, and may in fact differ in small or large ways: it's a drawing of a room, not your room.
Rates for party rooms are the same as regular sleping rooms in the MarsCon block ($115.00 + tax per night for a standard room). The deadline for this rate is February 6th. You may use the Hilton on line registration page to book a room, then email us at parties [redacted; use the online forms] @marscon.org with your reservation number. Our party planning personnel will work with the Hilton to place your party with all the others.
Bed removal will be available for an extra $100.00.
If you are planning to host a party, please fill in the Party Request Form below. It will help us collect all the information we need in one place.
(on some browsers you may need to scroll down past the menu items to reach the form!)
MarsCon is a fan-run science fiction convention for all ages held every March (sometimes in late February) in the Twin Cities area. At MarsCon you’ll find panel discussions, parties, guest of honor presentations, music of many kinds, our art show, film/anime room, science room, dealers room, charity auction, and masquerade. The Dementia track is virtually a con in itself, and attracts a nation-wide audience.
