[shhh, it's a secret, but you'll like it]
6:00 p.m.Dragon Half
The "Japanese animated Monty Python", Dragon Half is an incredibly silly anime that parodies the genre deftly and takes no prisoners, Dragon Half follows the exploits of Mink, the scantily-clad, butt-kicking, red-headed, misbegotten daughter of a dragon and a dragonslayer. In episode one, she fights off an army of warriors sent by a lecherous king to dispatch her father. In episode two, she attempts to win "The Brutal, Killer Martial Arts Tournament" so that she can attend a concert by her favorite pop star.
11:00 p.m.Rock and Rule
A long-lost animated classic, Rock and Rule is a rock opera set in a post-apocalyptic future where animals have mutated into humanoid creatures. The super-rocker, Mok, is engaged in a quest for special voice, the timbre of which is necessary for him to raise a demon and take over the world. He finds this voice in Angel, a down-trodden member of a failing rock and roll band. Rock and Rule is a visual and auditory feast, featuring ground-breaking animation along with the musical talents of Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Debbie Harry, Cheap Trick, and others.
Rated PG, 119 minutes
Saturday10:00 a.m.Medabots
Medabots is set in the year 2022 where kids aspire to acquire special robots to compete in tournaments. The hero of the story, Ikki, finds a special medallion and creates his own bot, Metabee, a robot with a quirky personality more prone to insulting his owner than obeying his orders. Smarter and more plot-driven than Pokemon, Medabots is a funny series suitable for viewers of all ages.

4:00 p.m.Making Music Videos

5:00 p.m.Noir
As dark as its title implies, Noir is a dark tale of a pair of amnesiac female assassins with a Godfather-like sensibility. Kirika and Mireille don't know how they acquired their talents or even who they are, but they do know how to kick butt. They murder for hire and are in turn hunted by mysterious men whose motives are obscure. Noir features mysteries within mysteries and has out-standing animation.
