MarsCon - Forces of Darkness

Girl Scout Cookie Sales

End date for Girl Scout Cookie sales in Friday, April 2, 2021.

Girl Scout cookie sales are a tradition at MarsCon, and we were determined to honor this tradition despite the pandemic and the necessity for distancing. It’s times like these when fans need cookies the most!

We welcomeed Troops wishing to sell cookies at our all virtual MarsCon 2021! Troops shall coordinate as described below:

Troop 44819, representing the Southern Minnesota area, will gladly sell you cookies via this link: https://tinyurl.com/y567qcnl

Hi, my name is Anna from Troop 44819
Proceeds from every package will help my troop go rock climbing and roller skating and help me reach my goal.
My favorite cookie is the S'mores cookie.
Thank you for your purchase and for helping my Girl Scout troop!

A note from Troop 54085, in the Apple Valley area:
“Hi! I’m Nicole and I’ve been selling cookies at Marscon for many years now. You might recognize me with my leather “feathered” medicine man mask and rams horns because, well, why not? My mom has coordinated the Girl Scout troops through out the years so you probably would recognize her too. I’m in the 11th grade and have been selling cookies for 12 years (since kindergarten). To date I’ve sold a little over 23,000 packages. I was hoping to reach 25k before graduation but this has been a rough year. We’re earning cookie money for a senior trip to Savannah Georgia (birthplace of Girl Scouts).

I’m doing very limited girl drop-offs this year because we’ve got some pre-existing conditions in the house and I’m trying to do my part to keep everyone healthy. I’m in the southern suburbs and can deliver within 10 miles of Apple Valley or shipping works great too. On the link below, either girl delivery or shipping can be chosen. Shipping for 6 to 12 boxes is only $6 so it’s pretty reasonable (shipping for less than 6 is $12, Girl Scouts is discounting shipping to try to help). The link looks impersonal but it links to my account so I get credit. They leave names off to protect the girls.”

Troup 55385, representing Saint Paul, is also selling cookies:
My name is Ranna, I am a second-year Cadette from troop 55385 in St. Paul, MN. Please buy cookies from me because the money helps pay for our meeting supplies, badges, camp outs (when we can have them again), and field trips. We've been very active during COVID (all virtual) - we are meeting twice a month for meetings and twice a month for social time. I am working on my Silver Award with one of the ohter Cadettes. You can buy cookies by scanning my QR code or going to my cookie website link posted below this picture.

For MarsCon members outside the local delivery areas, you can still purchase cookies in time for (and during, and even after) MarsCon! Cutoff date to order: Friday, April 2, 2021. Click the link below to locate a Girl Scout Cookie Booth in your area by entering your zip code in the “Find Cookies!” tool. Then head on over for the yummy treats! https://www.girlscouts.org/en/cookies/all-about-cookies.html#finder

Thank you, Girl Scouts!
