For 2024, movie programming will join with our Anime/YA track - you can find both in the Spy Classroom (“Owl Overlook” on the second floor). There will be plenty of Anime on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, along with some other interesting programming events, including:
Friday - 8:30pm - The Further Adventures of Walt’s Frozen Head - (NR) – 1hr 20 min
During his yearly thaw to oversee the direction of his company, the cryogenically frozen head of the world's largest media conglomerate, Walt Disney, convinces Peter, a low-level park employee, to kidnap him for a day in the Magic Kingdom.
Sat: 1-3 pm - Distant Calling Pictures - (NR) - 2 hr
A 2-hour screening and Q&A. A Return of Minnesota film-making team, DISTANT CALLING PICTURES, is proud to present selected works for your viewing enjoyment. This 90-minute program will consist of short films ranging from drama, horror, dark comedy, and action. Q&A with filmmakers to follow. With: Nathan Block, Distant Calling Pictures.
