Call For Volunteers

Hey Guys, since we are a volunteer run con, we could really use your help!! If you can and will help out, please contact your Friendly Local Volunteer Department.

All the committee members volunteer their time to make MarsCon run. That’s where you come in. Please help make MarsCon more fun for everyone - yes, even for yourself - by pitching in where, when, and how you can.

Volunteers are needed before, during, and after the Con:

Ballroom and our Dealers Room needs badgers.
Additional roadies for Ballroom (Mainstage).
Snarky’s Royale and the Consuite need runners to deliver snacks (for example, to dealers) as well as help setting out food/plates/napkins/plasticware, swapping out trays of ice to keep the food fresh and healthy, clean up and the like.
Rovers are needed to support Master Control - we also need people trained to staff Master Control.
Volunteers to staff Spy Games 1 & 2, Section 31 (Films) and Anime rooms.
Trained safety and medical volunteers are always welcome.
Greeting new arrivals throughout the weekend and assisting them with sign-in and badge pickup.
Program Ops needs help hanging signs, keeping rooms tidy and water refreshed, monitoring room tech, and alerting Master Control of any abrupt schedule changes.
Thursday and Friday setup + Sunday afternoon/evening teardown crews are needed for The Penthouse (our Art Show, located in Riverside on 1st floor) and other areas.
