Greetings from MarsCon!

We are having a convention next week. Hope you can join us!

About Marscon 2012

MarsCon is a fan-run science fiction convention for all ages held every March in the Twin Cities area. This is our 14th year! At MarsCon you'll find panel discussions, parties, guest of honor presentations, music of many kinds, our art show, film/anime room, science room, dealers room, gaming, dancing, charity auction, costumes, props, and lots more. The Dementia track is virtually a con in itself. Mix and mingle with a few hundred of your favorite fanish friends at MarsCon 2012. We'll be Rockin' the Apocalypse! Here is the latest:

Guests of Honor

Denise Crosby has graciously agreed to join us for the convention at the last minute as Claudia Christian will be busy filming that weekend. Denise Crosby is known by fans for her role as Lt. Tasha Yar on one of the most popular TV series ever, Star Trek: The Next Generation. Denise also co-starred alongside Fisher Stevens and Jennifer Tilly in the Fox series Key West and has played recurring roles on NYPD Blue, The X-Files, Mad Men, and Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman. She has guest starred in numerous TV series, most recently Dexter, Crossing Jordan, and Bones. Denise also plays Captain Susan Sallinger on the acclaimed series Southland. Join us in welcoming Denise to Minnesota!

The End

An important note to smokers and non-smokers: the Crowne Plaza is now a 100% non-smoking hotel. Our former smoking lounge has been converted to a coffee lounge… The End Café. Enjoy a civilized cup of coffee, some personal buzz, and some good conversation… at The End.

Parking At Marscon

The upper two levels of the parking ramp, spaces without reserved signs, and underground levels of the ramp are for parking. Also, if you don't mind taking steps, please consider parking in the underground levels so more spaces are left open on the top level for attendees who have trouble taking stairs. Thank you for your consideration. See you at MarsCon!
